Shut Up And Let Me Go

Way more straightforward and nowhere near as sussed as ‘Great DJ’, ‘Fruit Machine’ or The Other Single, but what does that matter? It’s the iTunes ad one, and that of course means that, whether you like it or not, Katie’n’Jules are gonna be having themselves another unavoidably massive hit sometime very soon. Fairly generic pop-disco that’s about a hundredth as funky as it thinks it is, but hey… onwards and upwards.

The Ting Tings - arguably the worst band of the last 5 years. And we have seen Busted during that time span. Generic, shallow, tuneless crap. And the lyrics, my god. This is of a similar credibility level to Britney. I mean, yes, they hold instruments, but they can barely play them.

i agree. there also the most repetitive band ive ever heard. all there songs seem to loop over and over and over!

Top club tune, regardless what the gray anorak and wet-bedsheets brigade think.

The only thing that could make this song any good is a little fart noise after the word 'go'. Shut up an let me go *trump*.

This is one of the worst songs i've ever heard - yes, a catchy tune, but the worst 'singing' and lyrics around - I HATE IT! These guys need to grow up.

The only Ting Tings song that was bearable on first listen. Of course, it no longer holds the honour of being listenable. Would it hurt to write more then 30 seconds of music? Strecthing it out to 3 minutes... You guys aren't fooling anyone.

I wish they would listen to their lyrics and shut up

I hate to jump on the 'i dislike the Ting Tings' bandwagon but i'm going to. I don't hate them, they must have something for everyone to have brought the album, i just think the majority of the tracks on the album (with the exception of Great DJ) sound like they we're made for a school music project. The kind you think sound really futuristic and cool but a year later you cringe when you hear it.

wow, it's even worse than their previous singleswhy is it that every so often a band comes along whose only purpose is to stockpile a load of increasingly irritating songs? this year's Mika or what...

This is a bit harsh and i reckon if they werent so successful you'd all like them. I hate how people who find success are always critisised. Ive seen people slag off the kooks, the fratellis, one night only and loads more, just because their successful and NME take the same approach, just look at the Killers who are the greatest band of all time, its what i dont like about NME and it follower. Dont get the wrong impression I hate Ting Tings. I dont like thats not my name or great DJ. I do however like this song reminds me of CSS

i loved this song when it first came out, i was that syked over, i made my boyfriend buy it me.now, i find it extrememly annoying.it's one of those songs that you can only listen to a few times.i found the album quite appauling aswell.i stil hate the fact people have 'thats not my name' on their phone. and they listen to it, all the time.the ting tings are one of those bands which you like or you don't. and tbh, i don't know about em' anymore.i give the song 7/10.
