You know when iTunes lists the track on a CD as something other than that which it actually is? Of course you do. Well, iTunes claims this is ‘Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds’ by The Beatles, which is the very definition of what it isn’t. What it is, is sturdy, heartfelt indie broth, with a vocal that’s all rasp and Editors-style bellowing and whip-smart lyrics papering over the cracks. ‘The cracks’ in
this case being that ‘What Took You So Long?’ fails to live up to The Courteeners’ monumental promise. Timelessness is a good thing,
