Of course, ‘LES Artists’ is a song that charges towards the Single Of The Week slot with the force of Dwayne Chambers after downing a pitcher of performance-enhancing substances and we’re only hauling up the tripwire because it’s already held that honour, albeit as a B-side release last year. A slab of minimalist future-pop with a chorus as head-burrowingly hummable as it is shronkily odd, ‘LES Artistes’ is the primary reason we’re currently head-over-Converse in love with Santogold. So, quite simply, listen to it, fork out for a big fluffy red heart from Hallmark and join the queue.
