Go Let It Out

Oasis Go Let It Out(Creation)

Oasis

Go Let It Out (Creation)

A so-so single from the upcoming, so-so album 'Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants' (what, the giants have only got one shoulder between them?). If you were going to build an Oasis single from a Do It Yourself Home Kit, this is probably what it would sound like. There's the typically vague exhortation of the song title (let what out? Where?), The Beatles mimicry and Liam sounding like he's about to break out into "I'd like to teach the world to sing".

"We're the keepers of the destiny", writes Noel, but, ironically, just as their beloved Man City are rising, Oasis themselves are fading from significance. They serve no real purpose other than as one of rock music's last remaining common talking points.
