Mystery Jets NME Tour 2006 Nottingham

Flakes

One second. When did Mystery Jets morph from the kind of unkempt rockers that the late Larrikin Love would probably think were scruffy into some kind of glorious, marathon music-makers who will undoubtedly be having you weeping all over your iPod the moment this track starts? Does it, perchance, have anything to do with the fact that Erol Alkan’s at the mixing desk, a man who, since the demise of Trash has delved deeper into the world of production? Maybe, maybe not; either way, we’re going to need another box of tissues.
