Despite growing up just down the road from where the Download festival takes place in Castle Donington, modern primitives LOTP have so far managed to resist the lure of the goth leash, the emo fringe or the flame-covered metal boots, instead preferring to paint themselves with geometric patterns and create music as likely to be inspired by arcade machine bleeps as dancehall rhythms.
