The Kaisers’ keen eye for social commentary always throws up a couple of truisms. Unfortunately, they tend to be truisms along the lines of ‘the grass is green’: you can’t fault them factually, but they’ve got the depth and thought of a puddle. We presume this song is about the dumbing down of modern society. ‘Never Miss A Beat’ is sadly symptomatic of it.

how far have this band fallen? employment was a fine debut album, but everything since has got blander and blander.

i've never particularly liked the kaiser chiefs. Employment was incredibly overrated and Your's Truly.. was just plain terrible and somewhere along the line they still thought that they were the best and original band in Britain - going on about how they were the band "knock Oasis off the mantle" (then bottling out of a chart war with them) and how "everything is average nowadays" talk about pot kettle!! however I actually quite like this song, don't get me wrong it's not amazing but it's got catchy hooks and it's better than crap like "Ruby" and "Everything is average nowadays"

One of my favourite bands, I like the new single a lot. Is it just me though or does the riff sound like The Enemy's "Had Enough", Be Careful Mr Wilson, can't wait for the album though.

A pretty good rule of thumb is that if Chris Moyles gets behind something it's a bag of cack and he LOVES kaiser chiefs. case closed.

The new song is good, but not brilliant, I think it is very dodgy in some cases as the lyrics are dreadful, eg 'What do you want for tea? I want crisps' really rubbish lyric writing skills for their time in their career

Wow!!! What an absouletly terrible song. we can all immitate a Kasier Chuffs song. Include a lot of nanananas, aaaahhhss, oooohhhs, bouncey keyboards, off beat drums, repeating of words, Irrirtatingly poor lyrics, etc. They could actually be geniuses though. Churning out absolute dross on purpose so that people like 'Soundedd' buy it and they make loads of money. Damn I'm jealous of there crapness....

I hope their next single to be released is "Spanish Guitar" which is the first song of the new album. Its kinda Beatlesque (Caroline,Yes!) to me.

Spanish Metal actually.Btw this song is the best single EVER, best song by the Kaisers EVER and all those people who think the Kaisers are overrated (what?) need to open their ears. The lyrics? They're fucking amazing as well!
