Arctic Monkeys hang in at number two

There’s no change at the top of the UK singles chart tonight (November 6) by with Westlife and Arctic Monkeys number one and two respectively.

Westlife’s ‘You Raise Me Up’ scores it’s second week at the top, while ‘I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor’ is still number two, earning Arctic Monkeys a third week in the top ten.

Pharrell Williams‘Can I Have It Like That’ featuring Gwen Stefani is the highest new entry at three, while Craig David’s ‘Don't Love You No More’ enters at four.

Goldfrapp’s ‘Number 1’ is new at number nine, however The Rakes can only manage 39 for the re-issue of ’22 Grand Job’.

The week’s top ten singles are:

1 Westlife – ‘You Raise Me Up’
2 Arctic Monkeys – ‘I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor’
3 Pharrell Ft Gwen Stefani – ‘Can I Have It Like That’
4 Craig David – ‘Don't Love You No More’
5 Sugababes – ‘Push The Button’
6 Pussycat Dolls Ft Busta Rhymes – ‘Don't Cha’
7 Robbie Williams – ‘Tripping’
8 Kate Bush – ‘King Of The Mountain’
9 Goldfrapp – ‘Number 1’
10 Hilary Duff – ‘Wake Up’


In the album charts, Westlife make it a double, with ‘Face To Face’ going straight to number one, Rod Stewart’s ‘Thanks For The Memory - Great American 4’ is a new entry at three while Blink 182’s greatest hits are new at six.

Madonna tops the download chart, with forthcoming comeback single ‘Hung Up’ at number one.
