Ticket reseller goes bust

4,329 ticket-buyers left out of pocket

Xclusive Tickets – a ticket reselling company who had sold some tickets to this year's V Festival and Reading And Leeds Festivals – has gone bust, leaving thousands of fans out of pocket.

It has been claimed that 4,329 people have been affected by the company's collapse - they also sold tickets to the Beijing Olympics as well as the aforementioned festivals, reports BBC News.

The company took payment for 18,000 tickets for the events, but failed to deliver them to customers.

Lane Bednash of insolvency experts Valentine and Co said that fans who had bought their tickets with a credit card should be issued a refund by their credit card company if they spent over £100.

He warned that fans who paid for tickets by other means may struggle to get their money back as there were no funds to pay them.

The news comes a week after up to 800 fans were left out of pocket by agency SOS Master Tickets, who failed to deliver tickets to the V Festival that fans had already paid for.

Good. This is a good thing.Very sad for anyone who handed over their hard earned and they have my genuine sympathy. But may I be thefirst to wish the owner's of this firm and their families a very miserable Christmas. The horrible, greedy, selfish, spineless b#st#rds. Can only be a good thing if more firms of this ilk went down the plughole. Most people will probably get a refund anyway as firms like this charge over £100 to watch the likes of Northern Uproar at the Leatherhead Dog and Duck!
