Bands sign on for Free Yr Radio campaign

Tokyo Police Club, Dan Deacon and The Secret Machines have just announced that they'll play shows in support of the Free Yr Radio campaign to benefit US independent radio.

The bands are set to play the free shows at Urban Outfitters stores in Philadelphia, Salt Lake City, Utah and Omaha, Nebraska to increase awareness and exposure of independent radio stations in those cities.

Yeasayer will perform tomorrow (July 30) in Minneapolis, as previously reported.

Although the shows are free, attendees must print and present an e-ticket at FreeYrRadio.com for entry, and they'll be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The show schedule is as follows:

Minneapolis, MN - Yeasayer benefiting the Current at Urban Outfitters, 3006 Hennepin Ave. (July 30)
Philadelphia, PA The Secret Machines, DJ Dave P benefiting WPRB at Urban Outfitters, 110 S. 36th St. (August 12)
Omaha, NE Dan Deacon benefiting KIWR at Slowdown (September 7)
