Plus Fleet Foxes and Chairlift prepare for tours

As previously reported in NME, Vampire Weekend are set to tour the UK in autumn.

The New York quartet will play at the Birmingham Carling Academy on October 20, as well as Sheffield, Newcastle and Liverpool.

There are tickets available for the band's show at the Manchester University on October 21, at the London Forum on October 25 and Glasgow's Barrowlands on October 29.

Another American export making their way to the UK next month are Seattle five-piece Fleet Foxes.

The band will play at Norwich Waterfront on October 28 and then head to Bristol, Nottingham and Manchester before concluding their tour at Cambridge's Junction on November 11.

Making their UK live debut in November are Brooklyn trio Chairlift. In addition to their performance at Club NME Brighton on November 19, the band will play London's Dublin Castle on November 18, Bristol Cooler on November 19 and London's 229 venue on November 20.
