Plus players will be able to play as Billy Corgan

Smashing Pumpkins are set to release a new single, 'G.L.O.W.' via the forthcoming computer game 'Guitar Hero: World Tour'.

The single will be available as part of a downloadable song pack set to be released after the initial game release, reports Billboard.

The game will allow players to play as Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan. The band's songs '1979' and 'The Everlasting Gaze' will also be available in the songpack, while their 1993 hit 'Today' will be available as part of the initial release.

'Guitar Hero: World Tour' is expected to be released next month.
