Slipknot have claimed the Number One spot on the US Billboard chart after a recount showed that they actually sold more records than The Game.

Initially, The Game was awarded the top position for 'LAX' having sold 238,285 with Slipknot in second place, just 13 units behind at 238,272 with their fourth studio album, 'All Hope Is Gone'.

But with such a close margin, a recount was carried out by SoundScan and it turns out Slipknot actually sold over a thousand albums more than The Game, and the new figures have reversed the chart positions to put Slipknot at the top and The Game in second place.

So they can do it for an album chart but not for an election?... weird

by my count that that equates to almost half a million people with very poor taste. it's just the tip of the iceberg though, such a shame when there are actually talented bands out there but the charlatans peddling gimmicks get the upper hand over a population desensitised by rubbish and lacking any ability to think for themselves.
