Santogold added to open Coldplay US tour

Santi will hit the road with Brit superstars
Santogold has been announced as the opening act on several dates of the forthcoming Coldplay US tour.
The upcoming shows will be the first for Santi since her performances at SXSW and Coachella, and in addition she will perform a headlining slot at Central Park SummerStage on July 20, and at Lollapalooza in Chicago in August.
The jaunt will support the release of her self-titled debut album which was release in April via Downtown/Lizard King.
As previously reported, she recently teamed up with The Strokes’ Julian Casablancas and Pharrell Williams to record ‘My Drive Thru’, which was written to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Converse shoes.
The dates are:
New York, NY Central Park SummerStage - headlining (July 20)
Chicago, IL United Center (23)
Philadelphia, PA Wachovia Center (25)
Montreal, Bell Center (29)
Toronto, ON Air Canada Center (30)
Hartford, CT XL Center (August 2)
