Band give fans high quality version of 'House Of Cards' for free
Radiohead have placed a new video download on their website.
As previously reported on NME.COM, the video for 'House Of Cards' is notable because no cameras were used to make it. Instead, images and performances were captured by 64 lasers and structured light.
Writing on the band's blog Dead Air Space, frontman Thom Yorke said: "It was a strange experience, sitting in front of a laser in the dark, then emailing back an forth with James the director as he sat in front of computers for a whole month with the amazing technicians who processed the data etc.. but it says something about the song and came out better than I had dared hope."
Although the video has been added to YouTube, fans can also download what Yorke called: "a higher quality version without the internet streaming pixellation squash" by clicking Radiohead.com.
