Singer pulls out due to 'illness'

Pete Doherty failed to show up for a gig in Manchester last night (October 3).

The singer was set to play at The Ritz but pulled out at the final hour.

According to the Manchester Evening News he cancelled the show because of "illness". The gig is due to be rescheduled, keep checking NME.COM for the rescheduled date when it is announced.

Doherty is also set to appear at London Matter next Saturday (October 11).

The Babyshambles singer had performed the previous night (October 2) at Hackney Empire after dates in Middlebrough, Coventry and Bournemouth.

This 100 percent confirmed for next Wednesday when Oasis are playing in Liverpool at the same time so people have to choose fucking nice one.

Is it actually on Wed? ive heard its on thurs?? n it says nothing about it on the ritz homepage...Gutted he dint turn up, but luckily me and my mate got lost in her dads car, so we wasn't one of the unlucky'uns who'd waited for ages...PETE! U BETTER TURN UP YOU BUGGER!!! haha

absolutely gutted!!! i wasa sooo excited all week...i saw him at glasto, bennicassim and leeds fest this yr, im a huge fan, an all i wanna hear him sing live is this is for lovers. i was in th que soooo excited, i filled up wen it was cancelled...nice 1 pete, cheers!!
