Band capture 'Black Parade' live on double release

My Chemical Romance are set to release 'The Black Parade Is Dead!' as a CD/DVD package on June 23.

The DVD was filmed last year - on October 7 at Mexico City's Palacio de los Deportes and October 24 at the tiny Maxwell's in Hoboken, New Jersey.

'The Black Parade Is Dead!' can be purchased in a limited edition package housed in a pinewood coffin box, featuring a hand-painted Day of the Dead mask created by a band member and an autographed, numbered "Death Certificate of Authenticity".

Bassist Mikey Way told Billboard: "These shows were some of the most memorable and fun we've ever had onstage. The kids at the Mexico City show actually overpowered the PA, and their voices were deafening.

"The Maxwell's show was complete pandemonium, and the video captures the feeling of and old school MCR show, the way it was way back when."

They are not EMO, they have no resemblance to early emotive hardcore and are just a fancy dress band. EMO equals shit now as no one knows the real emo bands like Sunny day real estate,Rites of Spring and texas is the reason. Thought i'd have a rant, bored at work
