Marilyn Manson band member found dead

Gidget Gein was 39

Marilyn Manson's former bandmate Gidget Gein has been found dead, according to reports.

The bass player, whose real name was Brad Stewart, played in Manson's band from 1989 until 1993, when he was fired and replaced by Twiggy Ramirez.

He went on to make music with the band Gidget Gein and the Dali Gaggers, and later as Gollywood.

Stewart was found dead at his home in Burbank, Los Angeles on Thursday (October 9) after a suspected drug overdose. He was 39.

However, Los Angeles County Coroners Office have said they will not issue any further information until the musician's family have been informed of the situation.

I wonder if now, given his untimely death, he would regret the fact that he spent most of his life using the pseudonym of a serial killer?

Whatawasteoftime, what an appropriate name to describe you.1. What does his death have to do with serial killers? He died of a drug overdose.2. Ed Gein technically wasn't a serial killer.3. You obviously don't understand the meaning behind using the pseudonym. It was to show how the media puts serial killers and glamorous people on the same title. Hence Gidget and Ed Gein. Nothing to do with glamorizing serial killers or what they did. The media does a good job of that already.4. Since he passed away he couldn't regret anything.5. Gidget probably wouldn't regret a thing you obviously know nothing about him. He used his birth name still. He would think you're an idiot prude like what everyone else thinks.RIP Brad.

Such sad news. I was a real fan of his artwork and his bass playing on POAF. I agree with everything you said JadedVioletx. Your comment is right on the mark about that idiot troll named whatawasteoftime. What a fitting name. He didn't spend most of his life using the pseudonym of a serial killer. He went by Gidget and he wouldn't regret anything.Rest in peace, Brad.
