Reports say she's trying to adopt a girl
Madonna is reportedly trying to adopt a second baby from Malawi, this time a girl.
According to Australia’s Herald Sun, the singer has been trying to adopt a two-year-old girl named Mercy James, who is currently living in an orphanage in the poverty-stricken country.
The report says that the little girl’s uncle John Nglande blocked the adoption last year, and in May Madonna again had talks with the girl’s family. The girl’s family reportedly agreed to allow Madonna to take the girl until she’s six, and then return her to Malawi.
Madonna is currently gearing up for a world tour, kicking off August 23 in Cardiff.
