Elton John joins Peel tribute
The star adds piano to Buzzcocks single
is the latest musician to join the group recording the John Peel tribute record.
John will play piano and sing on the cover of the Buzzcocks classic ‘Ever Fallen In Love’.
As previously reported, he’ll be joining The Futureheads and The Datsuns for the single, which will be released on November 21.
The Who’s Roger Daltrey , Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant, Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour and The Buzzcocks Pete Shelley are also involved.
Gordon Moakes of Bloc Party has designed the single’s artwork.
‘Ever Fallen In Love’ will be played simultaneously across all BBC stations on October 10.
All proceeds from sales will go to human rights charity Amnesty International.
