Dashboard Confessional release new album

Chris Carrabba to release fifth LP

Dashboard Confessional are set to release their new album 'The Shade Of Poison Trees' on October 8.

The record is Chris Carrabba's fifth album, and the follow up to 2006’s 'Dusk And Summer'.

The LP was recorded with Pearl Jam conhort Don Gilmore.

According to a statement it is "a return to his signature acoustic sound that (frontman) Chris Carrabba first developed on early Dashboard Confessional albums like 2000's 'The Swiss Army Romance' and 2001’s 'The Place You Have Come To Fear the Most'".

Carraba is set to play a headlining UK tour, his first for five years in the autumn. Dates are expected to be announced soon.
