Kaiser ChiefsRicky Wilson and Nick Hodgson and The CribsRyan Jarman chatted to Johnny Depp at the premiere of 'Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street' in London last night. The trio managed to talk their way past security and into the ultra VIP party where they hooked-up with the actor (from NME.COM user "Phil").

The Sun’s Bizarre column claimed Peaches Geldof had been dating Joe Lean of Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jongfor about a month, however Geldof contacted NME.COM today explaining: “I’m not dating Joe Lean, I don’t know where the story came from.”

Amy Winehouse headed to Kent to pick up her goddaughter from school (Daily Star).

Kanye West has bigged up Adele, posting her song, ‘Chasing Pavements’ on his blog and describing her as “dope” (Daily Mirror).

The Kooks say they’ve been curbing their partying, with lead singer Luke Pritchard saying: “We’re quite serious about keeping it under control because we feel a level of responsibility" (Daily Star).
